Every stay helps a forest rise again

Hutan Reborn is a sustainability initiative created to turn every stay at Rayz UMM Hotel into a meaningful environmental impact. During the stay period from 15 December 2025 to 14 January 2026, each booked room night automatically contributes to the planting of one tree, with an internal allocation of IDR 10,000 per room per night dedicated fully to seedlings and the planting process. This program was designed not as an additional donation from guests, but as a collective footprint built from simple choices—choosing to stay, and choosing to give back.

To ensure long-term growth and environmental suitability, our team conducted a direct site survey in Dau, Kabupaten Malang, assessing land contour, soil structure, drainage, and overall conditions needed for trees to thrive sustainably. This early preparation reflects our commitment to planting responsibly, with care that goes beyond the ceremonial moment.

Guests are also invited to experience our on-site installation at the lobby level, created as a space to pause, reflect, and engage. Through the Plant a Wish corner, every visitor can write and hang their personal hopes on our symbolic tree display, adding a human touch to this journey of regrowth. Because while forests rise from roots, movements rise from intention—small, sincere, and shared.

Hutan Reborn stands as a reminder that sustainability is built gradually, consistently, and together. Every stay helps a forest rise again, and every story we grow becomes part of a greener tomorrow. Progress updates and tree-planting documentation will be shared regularly through our official channels as this journey continues to take root.

Thank you for staying with us and for being part of real change at Rayz UMM Hotel. As we celebrate the 6th Rayz UMM Hotel Anniversary, your presence becomes more than a visit — it leaves a meaningful footprint and supports the small, steady steps we take toward a greener future. Thank you for growing this journey with us, not just as our guest, but as part of the change taking root.
